FIELD SUPERVISOR/ SENIOR CARE ASSISTANT

FULL TIME - 9.00am - 17:00pm - Monday - Friday + On-Call

Aman Care is a leading care service provider, with a HQ in heart of leafy Solihull. We are recruiting for an Senior Carer to join our vibrant team.

Assessment of clients, write care plans, risk assessment, review and update care plan;
Allocate/match care staff to clients accordingly and provide practical training to new staff where necessary on the job including an introduction service; Plan and allocate care assignments to appropriate care workers, with due regard for the particular needs of the individual and the particular skills and attributes of the worker;
Check home care and medication records, nutrition charts and hydration charts to ensure that they are accurately completed and if not to provide solution;
Engage in scheduled spot checks with every client to make sure that not only care visits are carried out but also care is being provided to client with dignity and respect;
Ensure that our service users/customers /clients are receiving the highest quality of care services that they expect and deserve.

Identify care workers training needs and deliver induction and care training to ensure that carers are trained and are competent to support our clients;
Work with all the professionals and other people involved in the client’s care and life including their close relatives; Liaise as necessary with partner professionals and organisations (e.g. social workers, GPS, nurses) in respect of developing and delivering holistic, person-centred packages of care;
Provide emergency and out of hours cover from time to time and where required;
Participate as required in the multi-disciplinary review of services;
Receive and handle complaints about services from service users or others;
- Passions, empathy, willingness to care, have effective communication and active listening skills;
- Have experience in the health and social care sector, are willing and open to training and development;
- Are trained to risk assess and competent with using manual handling equipment;
**Requirements/Essential**
- Have achieved NVQ Level 2/3 and above within Health and Social Care
- Able to drive, have their own vehicle and clean driving license

In return you will receive a remuneration starting at £18,000pa and can go up to £19,000pa with progression to a Care Coordinator

The post holder will be expected to work when required to cover for sickness and holidays. You will be required to work unsocial hours, weekends and Bank Holidays as necessary to meet the needs of the service. Flexibility is essential to meet the needs of the service.

You will be expected to participate in an ‘on-call’ rota which is paid a generous amount

This post requires An Enhanced DBS and satisfactory references would need be obtained prior to commencement of employment.

**Salary**: £18,000.00-£19,000.00 per year
