We’re looking for a Ranger to join our team at the Vyne Estate which includes our North Hampshire properties.

Come rain or shine, your love of the outdoors will inspire others as you strive to ensure that landscapes are beautifully presented and continue to take our visitors’ breath away.

**This role is permanent, full time contract (37.5 hours per week).**

**Salary: £21,684 - £23,088 DOE.**

**Interviews for this role will be held on the 15th Feb.**

The Vyne Estates holds many attractions with in its 1,500 acres include a historic woodland, wetlands, chalk fed stream to lake and Grade II listed parklands marked out by established & new hedgerows, with our organic farmer for grazing, enabling a richvariety of habitats. The Chase is a wet woodland with grazing livestock, working towards a wood pasture restoration.

What you'll be doing Your role will enable your passion for our work which include the protection and care of habitats, wildlife, property and machinery. Under the guidance of our management plans, you’ll work with and maintain our veteran trees, wetlands and fens amongst otherthings. Sharing your passion with our customers.

You’ll be responsible for supporting our volunteers, farmers and estate teams and will develop and inspire colleagues and volunteers. You’ll support the Area Ranger with the development of our Estate Management Plan

You’ll make sure that we’re delivering outstanding outdoors experiences and excellent conservation.

You may be asked to work some weekends and bank holidays

You’ll need to;
- Deliver experienced practical conservation work in land access and conservation management
- Demonstrate a passion for nature, heritage and the outdoors
- Able to engage with visitors to ensure they understand the value of your work
- Be an excellent team player
- Be able to work safely, with risk assessments and compliance with safety procedures
- Competence with machinery and equipment, such as chainsaws, as well as having the relevant certificates required
- A full UK driving licence
