As part of Capco's Innovation & Design team, the Design team translates strategy into action, working across the product lifecycle to create and deliver digital innovations in partnership with our clients and their customers.

**Overview**

This is an exciting opportunity for Design Strategists, Experience strategists, Product Strategists, Innovation Consultants, Proposition Designers, Sensemakers, CX strategists, Experience Designers or Service Designers looking for a highly diverse, client-facing role where no two projects are the same. Projects vary significantly in type, size, duration, client, business domain and deliverables and offer an opportunity to work on diverse engagements to drive innovation and design excellence across the entire Financial Services Industry (Retail, Commercial, Investment and Private banking, Insurance). If you have strong critical thinking and inter-personal skills, as well as impeccable attention to detail, along with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment then we are looking for you.

**As a Service & Proposition Design Consultant you will**:

- Lead and support the design process from discovery, through to design and proposition
- Own and support the definition and deliver of clear product roadmaps, with well-justified prioritisation rationale for features and outcomes
- Own and support the definition of project and product delivery plans
- Design and facilitate collaborative co-creation workshops with clients
- Translate business and user needs and technology constraints into service concepts, user stories and solutions that can be designed and delivered
- Define reporting and success metrics focused on project and products goals (eg. OKRs).
- Design and conduct user testing for validating concepts and features with users
- Lead and support the planning, design and execution of qualitative and quantitative research in a wide range of settings.
- Support the research synthesis process and generate insights that can inspire and inform innovative design.
- Ensure stakeholders understand the benefit of user research, design and the business value it delivers.
- Influence how decisions are made and constructively challenging ways of thinking at both the team and senior stakeholder level using research-based evidence and insight.
- Present outputs and recommendations to senior stakeholders.
- Align research activities with wider client and project objectives to provide strategic insights

**A few things that will set you apart**:

- Experience with market analysis (research, segmentation, positioning and sizing)
- Experience in project management
- Experience in product management/ownership
- Experience in service design
- Experience managing product teams of designers, researchers and/or engineers
- Experience with business modelling
- Experience with Jobs-to-be-Done methodology
- Knowledge of high-level technical concepts and design concepts, and how these can influence the definition and delivery of new products
- Strong storytelling and communication skills

- How can the user experience of a retail investment mobile app be improved to increase the size of the user base and user engagement?
- How can an Investment Bank reimagine a complex internal process to improve employee productivity and reduce human-errors?
