Nottingham City Homes are looking to recruit 4 suitably experienced and qualified Multiskilled operatives to work in our commercial services department to carry out joinery, plumbing, plastering, bricklaying and painting and decorating works as requiredby the organisation.

The successful applicants will work within our Commercial Services team, where our tenants are at the heart of what we do and whether you are working alone, with other trades or alongside tenants, we will rely on you to deliver an efficient, safe and friendlyservice of the highest quality.

**The Role**:

- Works are both internal and external, and on both domestic and commercial properties
- Multi Skilled Operatives will be required to have all general trade skills, unrestricted by quantity & quality and must be able to use their general trade skills
- You will be responsible for carrying out a wide range of construction duties in particular in 1st and 2nd fix joinery and repair work, major refurbishments, glazing, fencing, window installations, flooring, shuttering and roof works, plus plastering whichincludes skimming walls and ceilings
- As this is a multiskilled role you will need to also be competent working across a variety of trades, including plumbing, bricklaying as well as painting and decorating
- You will have the ability to use the necessary power tools and plant safely, as well as the ability to follow all safety procedures on site

You will ideally hold a suitable qualification such as City & Guilds Advanced Crafts or NVQ 3, or evidence of qualification by experience.

You will bring an organised but flexible approach and the ability to meet deadlines. Naturally, you will have experience in a repairs, new build, maintenance or contract environment, including assessing and inspecting jobs, updating records and great customerservice skills.
- A full UK driving license and access to a vehicle is essential for this role. _
