Vertical Borer

We currently have a fantastic job opportunity for an experienced **Vertical Borer **to join one of our prestigious clients based in **Crewe**

This is a **Full-Time, Permanent** position and a great opportunity to join a well-established business.

**What you’ll be doing**
- Loading, operating and setting 3 manual vertical boring mills
- Working with Cast Iron and Stainless Steel
- Loading and unloading materials onto machine
- Perform quality checks
- Ensure work is completed on time and to a high standard
- Machinery set-up and make sure it is safe to use
- Regularly inspect machines
- Keep machines well-stocked to avoid any interruptions of production

**Hours**

Monday-Thursday 8am-4:45pm & Friday 8am-1pm

**OR**

Week 1: Monday-Thursday 6am-2pm and 6am-12pm on Friday

Week 2: Monday-Thursday 2pm-10pm and 12pm-6pm on Friday

**Pay**

£25,000 - £30,000 per annum

**Skills/Experience Required**
- Experience in a similar role
- Good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workloads
- Able to use own initiative and work well as part of a team
- Have a keen interest in engineering
- Attention to detail
