**Domestic Appliance Service Engineer**
Yorkshire
£28000-£32000

Responsible for carrying out repairs of domestic appliances situated in customers homes, stores and other associated locations
Working Hours 9am - 5pm / Monday to Friday (out of hours travelling is required)
Note: hours are not limited to above as it is expected reasonable daily workload is achieved.

We are an after sales support operation for domestic appliances sold within the UK & Europe. The overall objective of the role is to repair customer appliances at their home location and to agreed standards.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:
- Repair domestic appliances in agreed area (travel will be required)
- Provide consumer training in the use of their products
- Manage own diary to suit customer / company requirements
- Manage routing to suit above
- Manage van stock to ensure accuracy and suitable stock levels
- Order parts as required per repair
- Carry out administration on paper or web portal
- Carry out installation of new products if requested
- Carry out in-store training if requested
- Act on complaints / escalations as requested
- Ensure customers are informed on repair progress at all times
- Play a part in the success of the business

**Essential skills and experience**:
Good electrical safety knowledge
Domestic appliance fault finding and repair experience.
Refrigeration / refrigeration systems experience optional but beneficial.
Excellent communication skills.
Ability to work effectively with others at all levels.
Self sufficient but also a Team Player.
Good diary management.
Flexibility and forward planning.
Good numerical skills.
Ability to problem solve.
