We have an exciting opportunity for a passionate, dedicated Nursery Room Leader to join our home from home nursery and its dedicated team of staff. We pride ourselves on being a friendly and a welcoming nursery that provides a stimulating and fun environment. You will be an individual that inspires leads, motivates and takes pride in their role on a day-to-day basis. You must be committed, organised and flexible, and have excellent customer facing skills and strong management and leadership skills. You will be responsible for the supporting the management of the nursery in order to ensure the legal and curriculum requirements are met in line with our policies and procedures.

Requirements of the role
- Relevant Childcare qualification at level 3 or above
- Experience in an Early Years Setting
- Passionate about providing the best standard of care and education
- Good knowledge of child development
- An ability to support children’s development and their individual needs.
- Experience of supporting and supervising staff
- Excellent knowledge and understanding of the EYFS and implementing it into practice.
- Thorough knowledge of childcare legislative polices and their implementation.
- Knowledge of OFSTED standards
- Comprehensive knowledge of working practices, policies and procedures relevant to the role
- Must be able to demonstrate the ability to work on own initiative, be able to prioritise workloads.
- Have the ability to lead teams, develop positive relationships with colleagues, parents, children and outside agencies
- Excellent time management skills
- Excellent communication, literacy and numeracy skills
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work to targets and deadlines

The role will require you to work shifts around the nursery opening hours 07:30-18:00 Monday - Friday

Salary is dependent on qualification and experience. Full time hours 37.5 - 40 hours. (32 hours would be considered )
