Sen Tutor

We currently have a number of students requiring 1:1 tuition in the Andover area, for both Primary and Secondary levels. The students have additional needs, and will require a tutor who can build a positive relationship with them whilst encouraging themto engage in sessions and gain the confidence to reach their maximum potential.

**Requirements**:

- Fully Qualified Teacher or relevant Degree qualified
- Previous experience working as a teacher/tutor
- You will need to plan and deliver bespoke lessons
- Ability to tailor lessons to each pupils’ needs and ability levels
- Awareness and understanding of pupils’ abilities and learning needs
- Ability to demonstrate patience and enthusiasm
- Ability to build positive relationships with pupils while maintaining professional boundaries
- Awareness of safeguarding protocols

**Additional responsibilities**:

- 1:1 tuition to take place in the pupils’ home or a local library/community centre
- Progress reports to be completed for each pupil

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
