As the StreetWorks Coordinator for our Derby region you will be playing an important role in the future delivery of our business. You will be responsible for the sequencing, permitting, and site inspection of all fibre highway works (for both existing PIA works and new dig) and compliance with the New Roads and Street Works Act 1991 (NRSWA) and Traffic Management Act 2004 (TMA). You'll be joining at the start of a very fast paced and exciting growth phase of the business with lots to get stuck into.
**We're looking for someone who can.**
- Inspect sites and locations to ensure compliance and identify requirements
- Submit relevant notices and permits to local authority
- Managing the relationship with the local authority, establishing and building relationships, and fostering collaboration.
- Work with the build manager and HSEQ teams to ensure standards are meet and audited as appropriate.
- Coordinating the sequencing of events with the PMO and teams on the ground.
- Acting as a point of contact for internal ground teams.
- Surveying for and developing TM plans.
- Investigating and record any failures of works carried out by internal or contractor teams.
- Responsible for gathering and collating evidence in relation to any challenges received from local authorities in relation to NRSWA, and the timely submission of such evidence to the required authority.
- Attend Local and County HAUC meetings as required.
- Contribute to the development of policies and procedures relating to NRSWA and TMA activities within Full Fibre.
- Liaise with members of the Public, Staff, Local Councils, County Councils and other authorities on matters related to NRSWA and TMA.
- Capture feedback from external parties and share this with PMO.
**The right person has**
- Computer literate
- CDM/Health and Safety knowledge within the utility space and preferably telecoms.
- Liaison with contractors and third parties
- Site supervision
- Health and Safety Risk Assessment
**Knowledge, Skills & Experience**:
- Driving License
- 2+ years working in a similar capacity
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong academics and demonstrable experience working under pressure in a fast-paced role
