**Job Role Summary**: The Machine Minder role position is a hands on role that reports to the shift coordinator. The role involves monitoring the production process ensuring the production cells are operating at optimum conditions, completing various manual handling activities such as loading raw materials, progressing/moving Work in Progress, wrapping finished goods ready for despatch, and general work place organisation / housekeeping duties. The role includes the operation of a FLT, supporting warehouse activities outside of warehouse operating hours. A flexible approach to work activities and timing of work activities is key to the success of this role.

**Primary Objective**:Ensure the effective and efficient running of the production equipment, the flow of material and goods through the production process. Support the production teams in various tasks that enable the production team to deliver the production schedule for both the shift you are working, and the following shift by ensuring all appropriate actions are taken.

**Summary of Key Responsibilities**:
Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:

- Monitor the production process and ensuring the production cells are operating at their optimum performance.
- Starting up and stopping production cells as appropriate.
- Monitor the production process and proactively undertake activates such as WIP movement, pallet preparation, raw material preparation and Finished goods wrapping to ensure the production flow is not compromised.
- Checking material bins and hoppers at the beginning of the shift, and as/when appropriate throughout the shift. All material bins must be filled up at the end of the shift
- Regrind boxes to be emptied and replaced after cleans and checks completed.
- Maintaining company production records such as route cards, scrap recording and quality information.
- Keep the aisles between machines as clear as possible at all times.
- When the warehouse is unmanned empty the trollies and stack box on pallets in the warehouse area, strap and wrap pallets as per packing instructions.
- All Fork lift truck movements when warehouse is unmanned.
- Recycle pallets through the chambers in an efficient and timely manner.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment through the positive and proactive achievement of SynthoTec standards.
- Contribute to a positive team environment.

**Salary**: £12.05 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Malvern, WR14 1JJ: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
