**About the role**:
You will ensure that the business strategy is translated into a cohesive Supply Chain plan to deliver an efficient and effective end-to-end value chain.

The supply chain strategy will need to incorporate innovative thinking and technology options that support our business growth and efficiency.

As the Head of UK Supply Chain you will be tasked with the design of a sustainable plan that will deliver an improvement in availability, whilst also ensuring that stock holding, and waste are not detrimentally impacted.

The supply chain team will support the delivery of the groups’ key sustainability targets, particularly regarding the reduction of single use plastic, operational waste and food waste.

**What you’ll be doing**:

- Develop and execute the UK Supply Chain strategy in line with the functional and business strategy.
- Build current and future capability within the team to continue to innovate and drive efficiency.
- Leading a world class supply chain team ensuring capability, training and career paths are in place and maintained through regular coaching and development.
- Own the actions for demand, supply planning and forecasting.
- Optimise the network.
- Drive efficiency in line with the annual savings target and as a leader within Procurement and Supply Chain, shape strategies to drive further efficiencies.
- Run all BAU inventory activities, ensure all product and menu changes are planned and executed efficiently with the brand teams.
- Design the availability system and reporting process to manage availability.

**What you’ll need**:

- Detailed strategic knowledge of Supply Chain Planning and Operations
- Proven ability to deliver complex change across Global markets
- Deep Supply Chain & Distribution experience, specifically in:

- Demand Planning & Forecasting
- Supply Planning, Network planning & Optimisation
- Managing major Suppliers across food and non-food.
- International and Domestic Supply Chain including standard industry procedures and best practice.
- Knowledge of current trends in sustainable supply chain management, including Scope 3 emissions reduction, responsible sourcing and human rights.
