**The vacancy**

Are you passionate about sharing your trade expertise and shaping the next generation of skilled professionals? We’re looking for a dedicated **Lecturer (Multi-Skills)** to join our Construction team, delivering high-quality teaching across a range of trades including Carpentry & Joinery, Brickwork, Plastering, Painting & Decorating, Plumbing, and Tiling.

**Essential Criteria**
- Hold a relevant teaching qualification or be willing to work towards one.
- Qualified to at least Level 2 in one trade area, with competence in at least one additional trade.
- Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in a lecturing or training role within Further or Higher Education.
- Strong understanding of innovative teaching techniques and internal quality processes.
- Professional, customer-focused approach with excellent attention to detail.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Deliver engaging lessons across multiple trade disciplines to further education learners.
- Develop curriculum materials and assess student work to ensure learning goals are met.
- Lead and coordinate course teams, contributing to course verification and quality assurance.
- Support student recruitment, guidance, and progression through mentoring and coaching.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge in your specialist areas and contribute to departmental development.
