Trainee Carpet Fitter

Assist experienced carpet fitters in the installation of carpets in residential and commercial properties.
- Learn how to measure, cut, and fit carpets accurately to different room sizes and shapes.
- Understand and follow safety procedures and guidelines while on the job site.
- Prepare surfaces for carpet installation by removing old flooring and cleaning the subfloor.
- Help with the transportation and handling of materials, including carpets, underlay, and tools.
- Learn to use carpet fitting tools and equipment effectively and safely.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Provide excellent customer service by being professional and courteous on the job site.
- Participate in training sessions to develop your skills and knowledge further.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Apprenticeship

Pay: From £8.60 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

**Experience**:

- Apprentice: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (preferred)
