I am looking to speak with a Geotechnical Engineer with an understanding of both Geotechnical and Geo-Environmental ground investigation as well as technical reporting with at least 5 years' experience to join a successful Geotechnical GI contractor in Castleford.

As Geotechnical Engineer you will manage a variety of projects from inception through to completion, manage financial budgets for projects, prepare desk study reports, interpretive geotechnical and Geo-Environmental reports. A Geotechnical Engineer shouldalso have relevant understanding of how to use software such as Plaxis, Cat and Geo5 design software and have an understanding of geophysical surveys.

To proceed as a Geotechnical Engineer, it will be expected that you have the following:

- A BSc degree in geology/engineering geology/geotechnics/civil engineering or related geo-science.
- A Masters degree in geology/engineering geology
- Relevant work experience would also be advantageous although not essential.
- The ability to work both within a team and as a responsible individual.
- Have a full UK driving license
- A team player with good inter-personal skills and proactive character.
