HGV Driver
Blue Arrow - Eastbourne are looking for reliable and proficient HGV Drivers to navigate around the city, collecting refuse and recycling waste on different rounds. If
Shift times:
Monday to Friday with potential evening and weekend overtime
5am, 6am and 7am starts
£14.26 per hour to £26.14 per hour

- Highly focused with excellent concentration skills, this is important to avoid road accidents and ensure you're on the correct route
- Highly professional in all situations, as you may interact with residents along the routes
Main Duties/Responsibilities
- Drive along specified routes, collecting refuse/recycling waste in a timely manner
- Check routes for safety restrictions, planned road works and traffic to ensure your journey will be smooth and efficient
- Complete paperwork, including the jobs you complete, and problems occurred
- Conduct daily vehicle checks and report any issues to the workshop
- Follow site rules and regulations, including the correct use of PPE.
Qualifications/Licences/Certifications
- Category C driving licence
- Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC) card issued in the UK, and you must take your 35 hours of driver CPC training every five years to stay qualified
- Valid Digitacho Card
