G10 Fx Options Trader

Citi is looking to hire an experienced trader to oversee a G10 FX Option trading book. You will work in conjunction with the global trading team to deliver on revenue and franchise goals, and with key stakeholders to grow and develop the FX Options franchise. You will deploy best practice on pricing and risk management in a fashion that positively influences other traders on the desk and to contribute to a positive culture on the desk and with the sales partners. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced trader who is looking to take ownership of a book and drive the business forward with the support of their peers across the markets business. **What you will do will be varied day to day, but the key drivers for the role are**: - Responsibly oversee risk on a trading book as a Senior FX Options trader - Generate revenues to achieve targets whilst considering market and franchise conditions - Build and maintain a franchise and connect with key clients in a fashion that fits with desk’s strategy and target clients - Manage and mentor junior traders - Work in close partnership with control functions such as Legal, Compliance, Market and Credit Risk, Audit, Finance - Build a culture of responsible finance, good governance and supervision, expense discipline and ethics - Demonstrate proper consideration for the firm’s reputation. - Be familiar with and adhere to Citi’s Code of Conduct and the Plan of Supervision for Global Markets and Securities Services - Obtain and maintain all registrations/licenses which are required for your role, within the appropriate timeframe. **What we will need from you**: - Will need to have trading experience in FX Options or closely related products, with a strong revenue generating track record. - Experience of working closely with Sales, Research, and other organizations across Markets to provide market liquidity and help build the Citi franchise through the monetisation of client flows. - Clear and concise written and verbal communication and effective interpersonal skills to develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders. - A strong understanding of Bloomberg, booking systems, trading protocol, closing technicalities. - Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience - Master’s degree preferred **What we will provide you**: This role will provide you with the opportunity to work within our FX business, leveraging a strong franchise.
