- about 3 hours agoOur client, a forward-thinking Utilities and Energy technology company, are seeking a Meter Reader to join their team The Meter Reader will be responsible for taking downloads from half-hourly electric meters, whilst providing courteous service to customers.
All training will be provided. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone from a delivery driving or field-based background who can drive and wants to join a supportive team. A company Vehicle will be provided.
**Key Responsibilities for the Meter Reader**
- Download data from Meters
- Undertake weekly checks on Stark vehicle, including water, oil, tyre pressures etc. Report vehicle issues immediately.
- Drive to site in a safe and professional manner and make every reasonable effort to find the correct site.
- Liaise with onsite Reception/Security personnel. Quickly build good rapport, greeting and dealing with them in a professional and courteous manner.

**Key background for the Meter Reader**
- Either Meter reading or delivery driving or field-based role background
- Full UK driving licence
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Reasonable level of physical fitness and manual dexterity to undertake regular manual handling.
- Prepared to work in all weathers, and in sometimes difficult or dirty conditions.
