Bluestar Medics provide medical cover to event and production clients Nationwide. Our medics predominantly come from NHS frontline or combat medical backgrounds, our medics who do not come from theses backgrounds have the opportunity to learn from experienced medics who along with the company will help them progress their training with support and training opportunities.

**Job description**

Bluestar medics are looking for event medical staff to join our team to assist with covering our clients events in and around the South West of England. In addition to this we are actively recruiting Nationwide in preparation for events that are booked for this year.

Working as part of our medical team you will be responsible for providing first aid to people attending our clients events. You will be a good team player and will be comfortable working on your own initiative as a solo medic to our clients lower risk events.

We are looking for staff who hold a valid and in date pre-hospital qualification such as FREC, FREUC, AAP, IHCD Technician, as well as Paramedics and Nurses. As part of our event team you will be offered work on a Ad-Hoc basis to enable Bluestar to be flexible around our teams other commitments. We are looking for individuals who have a passion for events and productions who are able to show good customer services and excellent patient care to our clients and their events.

Bluestar Medics is committed to ensuring all staff both employed and self employed contractors recive and in most cases exceed the National living wage, some events and productions will also have travel allowances and accommodation costs provided if required, Bluestar rates of pay start at:
FREC 3 and FREC 4 - £15 per hour

Technician £16 per hour

Paramedic and Nurses £20 - £25 per hour

All of these rates are paid at a minimum of 6 hours per deployment and are reviewed yearly with the aim of increasing pay rate depending on performance over the year. Prior to first deployment our medics will need to provide evidence of qualifications and hold a enhanced DBS check that is ideally on the update system for vetting purposes.
