If you're confident using AutoCAD, have a passion for the creative and want to work within a project focused, design role - then keep reading.
An enthusiastic CAD Technician is required for a local manufacturing company, offering innovative and bespoke fixed furniture designs on a national scale. Working in a dynamic and well-established team, the CAD Technician will have the full support of the widerCAD team with the ability to develop both within design and customer service.
- Work closely with customers to understand design requirements
- Prepare and produce documents and CAD layout drawings
- Assist customers and colleagues with technical support
- Manage and plan multiple projects
Working on a project basis will require an organised and hardworking individual with a proficiency in AutoCAD or 2D CAD software.
- Experience of managing customers and projects.
- Understand deadlines with the capabilities of working towards final end dates
- Very high attention to detail and accuracy of work
- Confident communicator across written and verbal conversations
- Positive approach to problem solving and customer service
