This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior Residential Support Worker to join a Residential Home for Children and Young People within the Penrith area.

Working for a specialist provider of care to Children and Young People in residential based settings. Their philosophy is to support young individuals from all backgrounds and to provide them with a reliable home and educational environment with the required support to live meaningful and valued lives within the local community.

As the Senior Residential Support Worker, you will be supporting Young People within 1 service of 4 single occupancy residential homes for young people with who may present challenging behaviours due to adverse traumatic backgrounds.

Your main duties are to manage a shift, delivering care within a residential home, motivate your team and support the Deputy and Registered Managers to fulfil the homes statement of purpose. In addition, you will provide emotional, therapeutic and behavioural support.

You will be a naturally caring and compassionate person with a true passion and patience for helping others in times of crisis. You will be required to hold a full UK Driving Licence, hold a level 3 in Children and Young people or equivalent, experience and understanding in a similar setting is essential. If you are a residential support worker with relevant qualifications ready to step up to senior, you may be considered for this role.

This is a full-time position with a salary ranging between £27,378-£32,448 depending on experience £3900 of sleep allowance, in addition to exciting benefits.
