**Your purpose **#

To provide financial support for UK & ROI Optics, supporting the Frame, Ophthalmic Lens, Contact Lens, Accessories and Merchandising Product teams and the UK/ROI Marketing team with analysis of existing performance, offers and trials and providing modelling and insight on potential new trading plans.

**Your role**
- Accountable for the monthly reporting pack for Product and Marketing functions, understanding the key variance to budget and impact to the Outturn. Providing insight to improve performance;
- Support the Senior Finance Business Partner in business partnering to the Heads of Product to understand their financial performance and impacts to overall performance from their Annual Plan tactics;
- Support the Senior Finance Business Partner in business partnering to the UK Marketing team to understand financial performance and impacts to overall performance from their Annual Plan tactics;
- Support the Senior Finance Business Partner in preparing and reviewing Retail business cases related to major product changes, including pricing, promotions and product ranges;
- Support the Product and Marketing teams with modelling the financial impact of new trading plans and support review of their performance in trial and/or post implementation;

**What you’ll bring**
- Qualified accountant with post-qualified experience.
- Excellent communication skills, tailoring information to a non-financial audience
- Strong systems skills, good excel skills are essential along with ability to learn new systems and manipulate data.
- Business modelling skills, including taking a big picture view to consider impacts wider than the defined scope for both Specsavers and store partners
- Ability to understand the drivers of financial performance to understand all inputs and metrics which might need to be considered as part of a business case financial analysis
