Consultant Histopathologist

Nottingham University Hospitals are looking for a committed consultant Histopathologist to join our experienced and highly motivated team at the Queens Medical Centre campus. As we progress to Digital Whole Slide Image reporting the opportunity for some job planned home working would be feasible.
The successful applicant should possess FRCPath (or equivalent) and should be included on the Specialist Register / or be eligible for inclusion on the specialist register or within 6 months of CCT at the time of interview, if currently within a training programme within the UK. In accordance with the consultant appointment regulations, all other categories of doctors must be on the Specialist Register.Applicants should have established skills in histopathology. A strong commitment to undergraduate and postgraduate teaching and a research interest is desirable.
Dedicated laboratory facilities inclusive of Faxitron image assessment, macroscopic photography and a full array for Immunohistochemical and Genomic assays are available.
