**Sales/Showroom Assistant Position - 4-5 days per week - to include 1 weekend day**

Based at The AGA Shop, Darts Farm, EX3 0QH, 01392 549539

Our family run business is seeking a highly motivated Retail Sales Assistant for our Cooker and Cookware showroom at Darts Farm, Topsham.

We are interested in a positive person with a can-do attitude who has the willingness to learn about our products and services and to be part of our friendly sales team.

**Responsibilities**:

- Welcoming & assisting customers in the showroom
- Promoting and processing Cookware sales, taking payments
- Once cooker and appliance range training has been done, speaking to potential customers regarding the appliances that we sell
- Assisting with stock displays & stock replenishment
- Processing deliveries & associated paperwork, including updating the inventory system
- Up load of new products onto the till system and the creation of subsequent labels and POS
- Maintaining showroom standards, tidying and cleaning the showroom regularly as well as the working demo kitchen
- When required, representing the company at Sales and Show events external to the showroom

**Knowledge & Skills Required**
- Retail sales/customer service experience
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Reliable and hardworking
- Able to prioritise tasks in a busy environment

**Hours of Work**

32-40 hours a week (Monday - Saturday 9.30am-5.30pm & Sunday 10am
- 4.30pm)

This role includes working weekends (approx. 1 weekend day per week).

**Experience**:

- Retail sales: 3 years (preferred)
