You are responsible for contributing to the design and deployment of new bespoke systems as well as supporting and maintaining existing ones. You should also contribute to innovation and development of new products, and process improvement initiatives. This role will require working as part of a team, supporting colleagues and collaboration with customers.

**This job role can be based in**London, Ipswich, Sheffield, Cheltenham or Manchester**. Onsite (5 days field based/on client site). Monday-Friday 37.5 hours per week. You will need to be eligible to obtain DV Clearance before starting this role. You will need to have lived in the UK for 10+ years to be eligible.**

**What you’ll be doing**:

- Undertake routine daily activities and is accountable for system design, build, testing, validation, maintenance, and ongoing support of network infrastructure components.
- Undertake the implementation of new and enhanced network technology that aligns to customers’ strategic direction for enterprise and remote site connectivity.
- Manage the installation, testing, and setup of new network hardware both physical and virtual (firewalls, routers, switching, monitoring) hardware and software and associated systems support.
- Participate in technology lifecycle planning, including contributing to the development of the technology roadmaps and Network Health Assessments.
- Deliver the required documentation, knowledge transfer and training to successfully land new solutions into the support organisation.

Technical Skills:

- Undertake engineering activities that contribute to the delivery of client technical requirements, deploying optimal network and connectivity solutions that enable clients and the enterprise to achieve their operational and business goals
- Assist with technical decisions that influence the success of projects and team objectives.
- Strong interpersonal skills to operate within a complex and challenging external customer environment
- Cisco CCNA or higher certification or equivalent experience
