SEN Support Worker

Location: Sittingbourne/Swale

**Salary**: £350 - £400 per week

Do you have experience in care or support work?

If so, Teaching Personnel are seeking teaching assistants with a background in care, support work or other positions involving care for vulnerable people to work in special needs schools across the Swale area.

**Day-to-day duties may involve**:

- Working with students in KS1-KS4 to support them in line with their curriculum
- Supporting the class teacher with delivering lessons and managing student behaviour
- Working in collaboration with the SENDCO parents and SEN team at the school to provide feedback on student's progress and behaviour
- Motivating students to enjoy education and overcoming barriers to their learning

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience working in a care position, e.g care worker, nursery or working in an any SEN support role
- A minimum of Grade C/4 in GCSE English and Maths
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- A caring personality and passion for supporting students of all abilities

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
