Senior Business Analyst - Sheffield

Fantastic opportunity for an experienced Business Analyst to join one of our key clients on a permanent basis, salary is dependant on experience and will be a hybrid working arrangement with a couple of days per week in the office. Your role will will focuson identifying ways in which IT can add value to the business and deliver effective and efficient solutions, engaging with key stakeholders you will manage the partnership between IT and the business, leading initiatives to meet the future needs of the businessand ensuring that the benefits of IT solutions are realised.

Key areas of responsibility include:

- Conducting preliminary studies to draw insights into areas of improvement in business processes and information structures that may be achieved through the implementation of new IT solutions
- Assisting project managers with the preparation of the business case, to enable decision makers to take informed decisions about implementing new IT solutions.
- Initiating and supporting projects to improve IT solutions to optimise and make the business processes more effective and efficient
- Identifying improvement opportunities in relation to business processes

To be successful it is essential you have the following skills, knowledge and experience:

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to be able to quickly understand business processes and how best they might be improved by IT support.
- Good presentation and communication skills.
- Influencing and relationship management skills.
- Portfolio and project management skills.
- Strong ability to balance business needs over the short-, medium
