We are looking for detail-oriented Purchasing Assistant to join our Logistics team. The Successful applicant must be able to work within given deadlines, meet targets and work under pressure.
**Responsibilities**:
Assist in the creation, processing and updating of purchase orders on internal system
Maintain and check accurate records of purchases, pricing and delivery information
Coordinate with logistics to ensure timely delivery of goods
Updating internal systems regarding product pricing, producing reports/spread sheets as and when required
Preparing relevant documentations for customs
Keeping a log of claims (damaged stock/incorrect product) liaising with suppliers.
Preparing documentation of stock arrival for Warehouse team
Send and request samples from suppliers as required
Any additional tasks as required by the Logistics Manager Include but not limited to
**Experience**
The applicant must have competent excel skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
Be able to work under pressure and under their own initiative
Excellent communication skills
Able to absorb and assess information quickly
Be organised by creating spreadsheets/files
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £27,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
