Tax Senior sought for the private client tax compliance team of this reputable professional services firm in Edinburgh.

Joining a small tax team, you will be responsible for the full tax compliance cycle for a portfolio of clients to be reviewed by management. The team work on a hybrid basis from their Edinburgh office, with 2-3 days worked from home per week.

You will be responsible for tax compliance and administration duties as well as supporting colleagues with a wider portfolio of private clients, charities, Trusts and Estates. This will include preparing tax returns, provisions and arranging payments of tax liabilities. You will maintain regular and professional communication with your clients, HMRC and tax colleagues to ensure work is completed timeously and to high standard. You will work to build and maintain your tax technical knowledge and provide assistance and advice as required.

Ideally, you will have 1-3 years' personal tax exposure within an accounting or legal firm. You will have excellent attention to detail, numerical and time management skills, and the ability to communicate technical matters in a clear, concise manner. Experience using relevant software advantageous.
