**Responsibilities of the role**:
1. FC SME - Customer Lifecycle & Life Business Assessment
- Conduct impact assessments of the Life business against internal financial crime standards and risk assessment methodologies.
- Evaluate FC controls across the customer lifecycle, including onboarding, monitoring, and offboarding.
- Collaborate across business and risk functions to identify and address process and control gaps.
2. FC SME - EWRA Report & Methodology
- Lead the drafting of the Enterprise-Wide Risk Assessment (EWRA) report and refine supporting methodologies.
- Ensure risk assessments reflect up-to-date financial crime threats, control effectiveness, and regulatory expectations.
- Provide strong written and strategic input to produce clear, actionable reporting for senior stakeholders.
3. FC SME - Change Implementation & Third-Party Oversight
- Support the implementation of change initiatives related to third-party processes and technologies (e.g., TPAs, managed services).
- Drive delivery aligned to agreed actions from impact assessments and methodology reviews.
- Act as an SME for regulatory and legislative requirements, engaging closely with internal stakeholders and third-party providers.
- Extensive experience working in financial crime roles within large financial services or investment management organisations.
- Deep understanding of AML, sanctions, fraud, bribery and corruption, and the FC regulatory environment.
- Demonstrable experience in FC change programmes, risk assessments, or third-party management.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and documentation skills.
