As a Barclays Global Markets, Transaction Management Specialist, you will work within a highly specialized team within the global markets business. The role will involve front line support of FI Structured Finance business activities working closely with trading desks across all Barclays offices in EMEA, US and Asia. FI Structured Finance is a rapidly growing, global business which focuses on trading bespoke asset side credit products and bespoke financing solutions to a wide range of clients.

**What will you be doing?**
- Facilitating Trade Capture and validation of Structured Products, Position Changes (Lifecycling - Loan Paydowns, Terminations, rate resets, restructures etc)
- Accounting for exception and query management related to Structured packages/positions
- Adhering to a ‘right first time’ policy on all Trade Capture activity, working with the desk on pre-trade, closing and post - trade transaction management
- Inputting real-time exceptions related to regulations into Trade Capture Systems (e.g. MIFID, Dodd-Frank, Brexit, Mandatory Clearing)
- Ensuring all new transactions have been on-boarded onto internal and external vendor platforms so that all MI, exposures and risk is managed consistently
- Working with Business Managers and other functions to ensure internal processes have the required controls and governance
- Streamlining internal processes so that capacity can be created in the team to invest more time with Traders and Structurers
- Ensuring each complex transaction has a one pager operational guide, review of term sheets to ensure all aspects of the transaction are captured

**What we’re looking for**:

- Reasonable product knowledge across; TRS, Structured Notes including CLNs, Repacks, CDS, IRS, XCCY Swaps, FX, Repo, Bilateral and Syndicated Loans, Bonds
- An excellent team player who responds well to high intensity and pressure environment, diligent and hardworking, always demonstrating accuracy
- Confident and personable with the ability to develop solid working relationships with the Front Office

**Skills that will help you in the role**:

- Structured Product knowledge including payoffs and valuation challenges
- Experience of handling/resolving P&L queries
- A highly proficient user in Excel to assist with in-house EUDA’s and MIS
