**Engineering Lead - Hybrid Remote - up to £100,000 + Benefits**

The role is primarily remote, with some expectation to travel to the London OR Nottingham office.

Engineering Lead opportunity to join an international Med Tech company who are launching their products in the UK after successful roll-outs abroad. The company have offices in Nottingham and London. You will provide Technical Leadership and managed supervisionto a committed Software Engineering Team.

**Responsible for**:

- Working with the product lead and the broader team to define and deliver the product roadmap.
- Direct management of software engineers including team performance, career development and line management activities.
- Facilitating sizing, estimations, management, and delivery of product backlogs in coordination with other teams
- Coaching the team on engineering and delivery best practices
- Define engineering quality metrics and ensure that the team meets them to help support continuous improvement.
- Make technology decisions that best support the goals of the business.
- Work with the CTO and other business leaders to define the technology strategy, including the development of business cases.
- Identify, communicate, and mitigate risks.
- Work with the CTO to ensure that budgetary constraints are met
- Evangelise technology and software development across the business
- Hiring and attracting talent

You should be a hands on Technical Leader. You should have engineering experience and the capability to perform at a Development Manager Level. You should have experience managing, Leading, coaching and mentoring a high performing team. Ideally you havesome Cloud infrastructure experience and Microsoft.NET / C# experience. You should also have experience in Agile development practices and Scrum Master capabilities.
