This is an exciting opportunity for an Industrial Designer to join a company based in Central London, who are at the forefront of their section of consumer products market.
We are looking for talented Degree qualified Industrial Designer who has 3-4 years of experience, gained in either a design consultancy or consumer product company. As part of the global team the incumbent will be involved in product development from conceptthrough to manufacturing. This is a role that you are truly connected to the product under development, from user research, concept ideas, developing initial prototypes and concept visuals / rendering. You will need a good understanding of technical restraintson design, show your thought process in coming up with concepts and solutions. This is a global company so the successfull person will be interacting from London to other offices, R&D teams and manufacturing sites in the UK and Overseas.
Key responsibilities:
minimum 3 years experience
- Degree Educated
- Design Consultancy or consumer products company experience
- Good 3D CAD - Solidworks / PTC Creo experience
- Confidant hand sketch skills
- Good Knowledge of 2D Design Packages including Adobe Photoshop / Illistrator / After Affect
- Ability to create high quality visualisations - Keyshot renedering / animation
