Albemarle Homes are looking for a hard working individual to fulfill the role of site Forklift Driver. Reporting to the Site Manager, It is the responsibility of the Forklift Driver to manage and control the delivery of materials to the site and the distribution of materials in accordance with the construction build programme.

**You will be expected to;**
- Communicate with the Site Manager to keep up to date with any changes to the build programme
- Notify the Site Manager of any shortages of materials - blocks, bricks and level of silo mix to avoid material shortages on site
- Ensure all deliveries are quality checked and correct quantities are received
- Carry out loading and unloading of materials from a variety of vehicles
- Move materials around the site or storage facility, ensuring correct storage and labelling within the compound area
- Notify the Site Manager of any defective/damaged materials when collecting or loading out of materials
- Ensure that any waste materials are loaded into the correct site skips
- Ensure that the forklift is inspected daily for maintenance purposes and weekly inspections are recorded appropriately
- Ensure the forklift is clean and roadworthy at all times and carry out routine maintenance
- Ensure that safe working practices are adhered to at all times and report any issues directly to the site manager
- Basic maintenance and tidying of site together with labouring duties as and when required

**Essential**:

- Ability to work unsupervised and to use own initiative appropriately
- Hold appropriate CSCS certification
- FLT drivers licence and Full UK driving licence
- Basic knowledge of building materials
- Experience of operating telescopic handler

**Salary**: £9.50-£17.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
