**About the role**:
We are recruiting an Academic Director/Associate Professor to lead within our Doctoral Programme in Clinical Psychology within the School of Psychology and Vision Sciences. As trainee numbers are increasing and the profession seeks to diversify, this is an exciting opportunity to further enhance the quality of a highly-rated doctoral degree programme. The postholder will be supported to lead on new developments that can extend our reach and impact, both within the profession and beyond, to the communities we serve.

In this role, you will establish and undertake externally funded world-leading research, contribute research-inspired teaching and supervision at undergraduate and postgraduate levels, and seek to create real-world impact. You will have an established international reputation for research of relevance to clinical psychology and a significant portfolio of publications that are of international quality in terms of their originality, significance and rigour. You will be able to use research and teaching expertise to strategically support our trainees’ competency attainment. You will contribute to management, administration processes and committee structures within our School, and be involved in the recruitment, management and development of trainees and staff.
