Skilled Careers are working with a leading M&E Contractor with a turnover of £190m strong presence across sectors delivering for a leading Main Contractor who require an Electrical Project Manager to work on a notable £21m M&E shell and core and cat A fitout project in Central London. As electrical project manager you will report upstream to a mechanically biased project lead and take responsibility for leading the electrical package from a technical and management perspective. You will initially be involvedin a complex pre construction programme before going to site in February to deliver for the duration of the 21 month contract.
Duties Include: - Technical submittals - RFIs - Liaison with client team, main contractor and sub-contractors - Value Engineering where applicable - Programming of works - Health & Safety management (RAMs) - Commercial Input, assisting with sub-contractorvariation accounts working alongside project specific Quantity Surveyors - Management of variations - Team Coordination (overseeing junior engineers, construction managers and supervisors) - Progress meetings with sub-contractors, client and internal meetings
- Overseeing commissioning stages - Formulation of OM Manuals and client handover.
