Joining our friendly and hard working TP family as a **Branch Administrator**, you’ll be; playing a vital role in our continued success, providing a first class service to the branch team and our customers. This is a **part time** role, Monday to Friday, between 20 and 30 hours per week.

Travis Perkins is the UK's largest supplier of building materials to the building and construction industry, supplying thousands of products and materials, and a hire service, to trade professionals and self-builders across the nation. With a wide range of quality timber, building materials, kitchens, plumbing and heating, landscaping, painting and decorating essentials and tools for the job - we do what matters for the trade.

**What will I be doing?**

Our Macclesfield branch is a BUSY one We are a team of 22 colleagues operating a busy counter service, sales desk, tool hire, bathroom showroom and toolhire..what a great place to work No one day is the same as the next in TP branch life, our success is built on strong relationships with our customers so it’s essential that you can support the branch team so they can focus on their customer facing tasks, here are a few pointers:
Invoice matching and processing payments to suppliers- Prepare customer quotes-
- Ticket sorting, batching and input- Credit investigations and resolving of queries
- Safety is at the forefront of everything we do, your aim will be to ensure that our standards never slip, by adhering to all stay safe policies and procedures.

**What experience do you need?**

Ideally you will have previous administration experience but you will definitely have great communication skills with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers and colleagues. Our success is built on strong relationships with our customers so it’s essential that you can help deliver the highest standards of service - the key thing is to be helpful and friendly at all times, you will likely get to know our customers on a first name basis. Computer skills are essential however full TP system training will be given.

Knowledge of the Construction or Builders Merchant industry is an advantage but not essential.
