You are never just a receptionist at our practice, every team member has an important role to play in ensuring the smooth running of the day. We want to ensure every patient and owner receives the very best service from us, so we are increasing our Client Care Team.

**Your role and responsibilities**

The role offers a wide range of responsibilities and no day is ever the same.

The duties will involve:

- Meeting and greeting clients face to face and over the phone,
- Dealing with numerous enquiries,
- Medication requests,
- Taking payments,
- Managing the diary,
- Dispensing medication,
- Ensuring the practice is kept clean and making the client journey as smooth as possible,
- Not forgetting to be able to work with our fantastic team and of course, cuddles with the patients.

This role requires someone who can multitask, loves a challenge, loves working at a fast pace, and takes pride in their work; knowing you have made a difference to someone’s day gives fantastic job satisfaction. A good sense of humour also helps.

**Hours are mixed between 8.30 - 6.30pm with a 1 in 4 Saturday rota with a total of 29.5 hours per week.**

**About us**

Cinque Ports Vets provides routine primary care services and emergency care 24 hours a day, 365 days a year with VetsNow onsite providing continuity in cases and patient care. We offer keyhole surgery, laser therapy, and acupuncture treatments. You will be supported by a full and experienced team of Registered Veterinary Nurses (RVN), that carry out both nurse consults and vaccinations.

The village of Kingsnorth has an interesting and historical background featured in the Domesday Book of 1086. Part of the village is a designated conservation area making it a mixed rural and urban village with excellent local facilities and supporting infrastructure. With easy access to Ashford, Kingsnorth is an idyllic village location for those who need to travel locally or commute to London/Europe on a regular basis.
