**Machine Operator - Day Shift Mon-Fri**

**with potential progression to Supervisory role**

At Aimers Coffee & Tea we are looking to recruit an experienced Machine Operator into our production team with the potential to progress to a Supervisory role.

Reporting to the Production Manager, your main responsibility will be to work in all areas of the production line in a safe manner, taking full ownership of your area and helping towards improvements in quality and efficiency.

You will be responsible for:

- Always operating a variety of state-of-the-art machinery and equipment in a safe manner (we will provide on the job training)
- Follow production plan on a daily basis for packaging requirements.
- Set and adjust machinery accordingly to specific packaging requirements.
- Monitor and record product weights and finished quality by taking samples on a regular basis.
- Stack all finished goods securely and advise warehouse operative.
- Ensure that an adequate supply of packing material is maintained in stock and advise if additional materials are required.
- Ensure good housekeeping standards within the factory ensuring all areas are kept clean and tidy.
- Complete paperwork accurately
- Ensure full compliance with H&S, food hygiene and HACCP standards.

Experience Required
- You will ideally have previous experience working in a manufacturing environment and will have a good working knowledge of food manufacturing.
- Ability to operate machinery and carry out minor adjustments to machines if required (with training required)
- Ability to work on your own initiative and also work well within a team environment.
- You will ideally have previous experience in supervisory roles.
- It would be beneficial if you have a full and valid counterbalance forklift license.
