Academy Trainer

The Vacancy

We're looking for a Trainer to join our Academy Team to deliver best in Classroom training courses, workshop facilitation and administer related activities including maintaining training matrix, records and calendar.

What you’d be doing

Reporting to the Learning & Development Manager, your main responsibilities will be around:
Leading the delivery of classroom training the Bigham’s way making appropriate use of resources and maintaining the culture

Assist in driving a culture of continuous improvement and innovation through a partnership approach; engaging, coaching and developing the Bigham’s training and Leader teams

Develop and maintain team member pathways in line with company procedures, setting out the 12 week pathway for each role, ensuring colleagues can develop, and understand potential career pathways

Support the Kitchen Team Trainers through delivering ‘train the trainer’, regular meetings, planned observations and coaching where appropriate

Maintain course content in line with the business needs, reviewing at regular intervals

Document and formalise SOP’s for key equipment and tasks within the whole business and update as and when required, keeping a log in a SOP register

Play a role in all new equipment trials ensuring an effective SOP, cleaning regimes and transfer of knowledge is achieved within the Production Kitchen

What you’ll bring to the table

We’re looking for someone who has experience delivering classroom training, is a confident communicator and an engaging presenter.

You’ll also be experienced in workbook and resource development and have a strong quality and continuous improvement mindset.

Good interpersonal skills and the ability to develop relationships

A great organiser with the ability to manage projects coupled with attention to detail and a completer-finisher
