Caper & Berry is an award-winning event caterer based in Surrey. We also work in partnership with Chichester Festival Theatre, where these roles will be based, running the catering in multiple food and beverage outlets situated there. As a company, we are known for our exceptional quality of food and service.

We are currently recruiting a number of roles to help in strengthening our Front of House team as we begin to reopen. These roles are:

- Bartenders
- Waiting Staff
- Baristas

The **Bar Staff** role will include but not be limited to:

- Assisting the Outlets Manager and Venue Operations Manager in the day to day smooth running of the onsite bars (located in the Theatre and in the restaurants)
- Providing a consistently high level of service, engaging in a professional but friendly manner to customers.
- Liaising with the front of house team to create drinks of a consistently high standard.
- Ensuring the bar is run as efficiently as possible and health and safety is always adhered to.
- Ad - hoc jobs as required by line manager
- Preparing drinks for customers using local, excellent beverages and produce (both alcoholic and soft).
- Some experience working behind a bar would be ideal for this role, along with a taste for excellent wines, gins, and beverages. Training in all aspects of the role will be provided.

The **Waiting Staff** role will include but not be limited to:

- Assisting the Venue Operations Manager and General Manager in the day to day running of the onsite restaurant at CFT.
- Providing a consistently high level of service, engaging in a professional but friendly manner to customers.
- Taking orders, liaising with the kitchen team and ensuring food and drinks are served to the customer in a timely manner
- Taking card payments and using the till system correctly
- Ad-hoc jobs as required by line manager.
- Training of a high standard throughout placement

The **Barista **role will include but not be limited to:

- Assisting the Café & Outlets Manager in the day to day smooth running of the onsite cafes.
- Providing a consistently high level of service, engaging in a professional but friendly manner to customers.
- Taking orders, preparing orders (including coffees - Barista training will be given however previous experience ideal) and serving these to the customers.
- Taking card payments and using the till system correctly.
- Ad-hoc jobs as required by line manager
- Assisting in the creation of seasonal drinks to be served to Theatre customers
- Speak excellent English
- Have some customer service experience
- Have an interest in working in hospitality
- Have a willingness to learn, accompanied with a positive attitude for everything they do
- Have a professional appearance
- Be available for a minimum of 3 shifts per week (hours vary)

**Job Types**: Part-time, Zero hours contract

**Salary**: £6.85-£9.70 per hour
