We are currently recruiting for Cleaning Operatives for an evening, term-time only position.

**Job Title**:Evening Cleaner / Cleaning Team Leader
**Location**: Central Brighton (near The Level)
**Hours**: 2.5 hours per evening, Monday to Saturday (6 days per week)
**Total Weekly Hours**: 15 hours
**Shift Time**: 8:00pm - 10:30pm
**Pay**: £12.60 (Cleaner Position) - £13.50 per hour (Team Lead Position)

**Employment Type**: Employed, **term-time only** (salary is paid pro-rata throughout the year)

**Pay Frequency**: Weekly, every Thursday + Holiday Pay

We’re currently recruiting for two roles at an educational site in Central Brighton:

- Evening Cleaner
- Cleaning Team Leader (hands-on role with light supervisory duties)

This is a great opportunity to join a reliable and friendly team, carrying out regular evening cleans in a well-maintained educational environment. The role runs Monday to Saturday, with a fixed shift of 8:00pm to 10:30pm, totalling 15 hours per week.

Please note: this is a term-time only position. You will be paid weekly, and your salary will be pro-rata to ensure you receive a consistent income throughout the year, including during school holidays.

What we’re looking for:

- A keen eye for detail and consistently high cleaning standards
- Reliability and punctuality
- Good spoken English
- A positive, team-focused attitude
- For Team Leader applicants: some experience leading a cleaning team is preferred but not essential

Duties include:

- Cleaning classrooms and communal areas (dusting, vacuuming, mopping, wiping surfaces)
- Cleaning kitchen and toilet areas
- Emptying bins
- Completing the daily cleaning checklist
- Light supervision of cleaning standards (Team Leader role only)

This is a keyholder role, so trustworthiness and dependability are essential.
