Real Ideas are looking for a Customer Experience Shift Supervisor to join our Arts & Making team. You will have day-to-day responsibility for the team of Customer Experience Hosts who are the first point of contact for Real Ideas members and visitors at Ocean Studios. You will play a vital role in ensuring everyone receives amazing customer experience, excellent service and is welcomed with a smile.

In this role your duties and responsibilities will include:

- Day-to-day shift supervision of the Customer Experience Hosts at Ocean Studios, ensuring they provide a cheerful welcome, excellent, prompt, and efficient service that encourages customers to keep coming back.
- As Shift Supervisor, you will be responsible for working with and providing day to day oversight of a range of key tasks, including welcoming visitors to our spaces, checking tickets, running the café, ensuring compliance, supporting events and retail selling.
- You will take responsibility for stock takes, ordering stock and making sure the team receive and manage deliveries well.
- You will ensure the team you are working with always actively promote Real Ideas membership.
- Ensure you and those you work with can answer general enquiries from visitors and members about Arts & Making, our events and activities and the values and activities of the rest of the Real Ideas group.
- Ensure areas are kept tidy, clean, and well-organised at all times.
- Ensure Ocean Studios is alarmed, locked and secure at the end of every shift.
- Support event/experience delivery and facilitation including set up, take down and serving refreshments.
- Actively identify, communicate, and where appropriate, seek to resolve issues raised by customers.
- Receive directions from the Real Ideas team, particularly the Arts & Making Programme and Exhibitions Lead.
