Empowering Learning are looking to appoint Maths Teacher from Septmeber until July to work in a school rated good in the Manchester area.

You will be responsible for working primarily with KS3 and KS4 classes on the timetable. For this Teacher of Maths position the school are looking for someone with a proven track record of steering students to success. A thorough understand of the curriculumis imperative and an ability to engage learners of varying abilities is required. Behaviour is good in the school although excellent behaviour management and relationship building skills are obviously desirable

What you will need to succeed in this Teacher of Maths role:
QTLS or equivalent

DBS on the update service

Two most recent professional references

Previous UK based experience teaching Maths to KS3 and KS4 students

Ability to prepare and plan lessons independently and in colloboration with the Head of Maths

Thorough and up to date understanding of Maths curriculum

Planning and marking will be incorporated into your pay. The school do not expect you to work out of hours, if you do so this will be incorporated into your pay and is an option as oppose to a requirment.
