Junior Cad Technician

- Junior CAD Technician
- Permanent role
- Based in South East England
- Paying £23,000 - £26,000

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Working with technical designers, CAD technician and industry experts to deliver cutting edge technical solutions within different sectors.
- A strong work ethic and the ability to work under supervision and with the guidance of the CAD technician.
- Working under pressure, to tight deadlines, both as part of a team and under own initiative.
- Production of audio visual M&E drawings
- Production of audio visual system schematics
- Production of bespoke metal work design - Bracketry, plates, etc
- Production of bespoke woodwork design - control desks, lecterns, media walls, etc.
- Production of CAD detailing optical rigs, projection throw, screen distances, equipment/power/service/data positioning
- Production of containment drawings

**Key Skills, Experience and Knowledge**:

- AutoCAD LT experience and able to produce 2D drawings is an advantage
- Excellent communication skills are essential
- Ability to work closely and efficiently within the team
- Self-motivated and conscientious with very good attention to detail
- Previous audio visual installation experience or technical support experience is advantageous but not essential
- Excellent written & verbal communication skills.
- Excellent time management skills including work load prioritisation, meeting internal & external SLAs and ensuring project deadlines are met.
