Avanti is currently partnering with a Microsoft house company in Wakefield who are looking for an experienced Full-Stack Developer to join their current team of 7 experienced developers. They create bespoke software solutions for multiple industries suchas the health, finance, and education sector.

This role is remote with office visits once per month for meetings.

They are looking for a developer with experience working with both.NET and JavaScript frameworks such as React, Angular or Vue.js. You will be working on a number of large projects, working on the company’s main product that currently holds over 7,000 end-users.However, the primary purpose of the role is to help develop the company’s brand new product where you will be involved with the full development lifecycle.

Their tech stack is as follows:.NET CORE, Azure, JavaScript, and Vue.js. (You don’t need experience with Vue.js but experience with other JavaScript frameworks such as Angular or React would be a bonus). The development team follows best practices to writeclean and effective code such as Scrum, TDD, BDD, SOLID, pair-programming, and continuous integration.

This role offers a lot of technical freedom and personal development opportunities through a personal development and training plan that is set out for you at the beginning of the year. In this development plan, you are given the opportunity to outline yourown strategies and targets. The company has created a great working environment for any developer as they don’t only have a very fun culture with Pizza Fridays, team meals, and a team day out each year (previous trips have included Dublin and Manchester) butthey are also advocates for staying on the cutting edge of technology. One Monday per month each developer has a technical training day and every quarter have a day to explore new technologies and work on small side projects. Training opportunities includeonsite trainers, off-sight courses, and certifications as well as subscriptions such as Pluralsight.
