Sub Agent

An opportunity for a Sub Agent has become available with an international infrastructure provider.
The company operate a number of frameworks delivering civil engineering and infrastructure projects across the country with a turnover of £120 Million.

As a Sub Agent you will be responsible for the management of small value construction sites or assist the Site Agent/Project Manager on larger value schemes, in order to achieve required project delivery to the customers’ objectives, while maintaining standardsof health and safety, quality, environmental impact and cost control.

The Role
- Maintain commercial performance of the contract
- Be responsible for the successful delivery of projects
- Produce, manage the project programme and supervise the delivery of it
- Understand and interpret drawings and specifications
- Provide engineering expertise and support to the project team
- Deliver end product to customer satisfaction
- Produce good quality, accurate monthly reports for the Client and internally
- Chair weekly site meetings in line with Company procedures
- Comply with Company procedures and legal obligations at all times, promoting best practices
- Any other reasonable requests as required by Management

Experience/Qualifications required
- Considerable experience in Civil Engineering
- Degree/HNC in Civil Engineering
- CSCS card
- SMSTS card
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- People and team management skills with the ability to motivate others to achieve high standards of compliance
- Ability to challenge designs
- Good level of attention to detail
- Proficient using IT Systems
- Honest and reliable
