Our client is a globally respected engineering organisation, providing white collar, Blue collar and engineering services to many sectors including energy, aerospace, marine and defence. They are committed to innovation and the continual pursuit of improvement, and with a brand holding over 100 years of service they are now developing their technology capabilities, venturing into new markets, and building their customer base further.

On behalf of this organisation, AMS are looking for an Inspector on a 12-Month contract based within the Clients site in Derby.

Core Inspector Duties:

- To manage cell workflow to ensure the Kanban systems is operated as designed and parts are produced to the required schedule
- To ensure cell working environment is maintained in the optimum condition
- Machining / **inspection** / welding of high-pressure turbine blades
- Running CNC / EDM / Grinding Machines with Inspection as well

Key Skills and Experience:

- Semi-Skilled Role (Product Make - Inspector)
- Experience in Inspection
- Experience in Running CNC / EDM / Grinding Machines
- Attention to detail
- Ideally Aero Space or Manufacturing Background

This Inspector role is 40 hours per week with 4 shifts over 7 days (mornings/afternoons/nights).

Contract length: 12 months

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Night shift
- Weekend availability

**Experience**:

- Mechanical inspection: 3 years (preferred)
