We are now seeking a Senior Cell Culture Lab Technician to join us on a permanent, full-time basis, at the prestigious National Innovation Campus at Sci-Tech Daresbury.

**The Role**
As our Senior Cell Culture Lab Technician, you are responsible for providing an internal service to our lab scientist team to support cell-based testing.
You will be focussed on maintaining all cell types within our lab and conducting advanced planning of cell culture to provide cells for test assays on pre-agreed dates.
Supporting our regulatory and non-regulatory assays, you will be engaged with preliminary testing.
Specifically, you will be responsible for:

- The maintenance of both primary and immortalised cell lines
- The maintenance of adherent and suspension cells
- Conducting interference testing to support commercial testing
- The management of the cell culture scheduling to support commercial testing
**About You**
To join us as our Senior Cell Culture Lab Technician, you will need:

- Previous experience performing a similar role
- Experience working to Quality Standards - GLP, ISO, any other relevant experience.
- Experience of using cell viability reagents
- Experience performing cell population doubling
- Experience in microscopy
- Experience with cryopreservation
- Experience with chemical solubility (training will be provided)
- Knowledge of cell morphology and indicators of cell health
- Understanding of biological safety/hazards
- Knowledge of aseptic technique
- Troubleshooting skills
- Strong time-management and the ability to plan resources ahead
- Effective communication skills
