**Salary**: £28,106 - £37,000

Leader Education is currently recruiting for a English Teacher for a SEMH specialist school in Burnley.

You will be required to teach a small classroom of pupils that will be supported with TA's.

**You**:

- A qualified secondary teacher who specialises in English will be considered for the role (QTS)
- Previous experience with SEMH children is desirable but not essential; enthusiasm and willingness to promote effective, inclusive education for children will be considered
- Be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people
- Have a high standard of classroom skills
- Be encouraged by the challenge of re-engaging disengaged learners through positive activities and outcomes including vocational, hands on, active learning
- Have a passion for teaching and learning with the ability to make learning enjoyable and fun
- Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and a commitment to collaborative working.

- To plan, deliver and mark work
