Join us at Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust (OHFT) to complete your training to become a qualified Dietitian and gain a BSc Dietetics degree whilst you work. The Dietetic Apprenticeship program combines clinical employment, work based learning, and academic learning. It is a fully funded route towards qualification as a HCPC registered Dietitian. You will be employed as an Apprentice Dietitian at Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust and be provided with dedicated time to study for a degree in Dietetics. The apprenticeships will be aligned to Sheffield Hallam University and if taught via remote learning. During the apprenticeship you will develop skills and knowledge that will allow you to work in today's dynamic and changing healthcare environment. Whilst you will be based in one specific team, your placements will provide a variety of learning environments both within Oxford Health and with external healthcare providers. There is a requirement to be able to travel between sites both within Oxford Health and externally for placements. Applicants must therefore have a full valid driving licence and have access to a vehicle for work. Adjustments can be considered in line with the Equality Act 2010 where required. We have two posts available in Oxford, one on the Highfield Unit and one on our Mental Health Inpatient wards and both posts are based at the Warneford Hospital. If you would like to be considered for both positions, please add this to your personal statement to avoid duplication. The services offer excellent opportunities for supervision, service development, service evaluation and research, teaching and training. The services are also committed to evidence-based and evidence generating practice and you will have the opportunity to be part of service evaluation and Quality Improvement projects. The post-holder will be expected to assist in clinically related administration and will need to utilise data and research skills for audit and service development.
